For this project, I created a t-shirt design for the World Wildlife Fund, and I wanted to represent the idea of climate change as well as protecting wildlife, which is what the organization represents. I decided to portray this idea by creating a prosperous ecosystem on the left hand side, showing a giraffe eating leaves off a tree, and then representing the cause of global warming and what can happen if we don’t take action, shown on the right side by a dead tree, vulture, and birds flying away from the scene to go find elsewhere to prosper. I wanted to really explore the fluidness of life as well as the jagged sharpness of a representation of death in this piece to encourage people to take action.
