Panthers at Play is an event I designed advertising for and hosted for my Capstone Design class. It is a casual gaming event designed to create a welcoming and inclusive space for women and LGBTQ+ gamers at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
It was designed for gamers to explore new games, meet fellow players, or just unwind in a supportive environment. The event was all about having fun, making connections, and celebrating diverse voices in gaming. No competition, no stress—just a night of games, good vibes, and community.
My goal was to foster a positive, non-toxic environment for those who enjoy video games but don't feel like they fit in to the typical gaming community. I wanted to help build a gaming space where everyone belongs.
